Your signaturestays yours.
A signature is part of who you are. Here is exactly what happens to it and to your name inside Calligra, without the jargon.

What we promise
- 01
Scoring happens on your phone
Your old signature is analysed on your device. We don't send the strokes anywhere to score them.
- 02
We only save the designs you choose
When you choose a design, we save the name, the chosen style and a simplified copy of your old strokes to your account, so the before & after card stays available.
- 03
Never used for anything else
We don't use your signature or name for advertising and we don't sell them. Nobody's signature appears in our posts without explicit permission.
- 04
Anonymous measurement
We measure where people get stuck so we can improve the app. That data holds no name and no signature.
- 05
A protective pattern when you share
The before & after card and video carry a faint pattern over the strokes, so nobody can crop a clean copy of your real signature from a post.
- 06
Deleted with one button
When you delete your account, your saved names and designs are permanently erased.
What lives where
- Your old signature drawing
- On your device. When you choose a design, a simplified copy in your account for the before & after card.
- Your name
- On your device. In your account when you choose a design. When you're logged in, an AI provider may also receive it to suggest a style, if that feature is switched on; we don't store it.
- Your new signature design
- On your device, and in your account once you choose it (font, flourish, layout).
- Usage data
- Anonymous events for product work: which screen, which button. No name, no signature.
- Email and password
- In our account system (Supabase), over an encrypted connection. Not even we can see your password.
The full legal text is on the Privacy page.
Tips if you post
- Don't post your real, official signature without the protective pattern.
- If you only want to show off the style, pick a variant you don't use officially.
- Calligra designs a style; it is not a certified electronic signature. Your bank and the authorities keep your old signature until you change it with them.
